I recently visited Bésame Cosmetics Boutique, located in Burbank, CA, and it’s a beautiful shop. Bésame means ‘Kiss Me’ in Spanish, but please don’t those are reserved for my husband. I am in love with their lipsticks. The shades are inspired by different periods. They have many shades of red lipsticks, and every one of them corresponds with a year. The colors I have are Cherry Red and Love that Redhead. Of course, I had to have a few neutrals; Portrait Pink and What a Peach.

Upon visiting the boutique, you’re greeted with a  golden lipstick door handle. Once inside, there is an array of makeup from throughout the eras. The day I visited the boutique was to buy the “Love, Lucy” Collection. I was one of the lucky ones who managed to grab the complete set, which included the Club Babalu Shadow Palette, Love that Redhead lipstick, What a Peach lipstick, Lucy’s Face Powder Compact, Lucy’s Pencil set. Which consists of 3 pencils; a red lipliner, a brown eyeliner, and a white waterline pencil. As a special bonus, the set included a red heart-shaped tote bag that says, ‘I Love Lucy’ and a pair of false lashes that were inspired by Lucille Ball. This collection is the first in Bésame’s Iconic Women Series.

The boutique has two display cases, one with makeup from past collections, and the other hosts a history of makeup. I am a makeup enthusiast, so it was nice to see these display cases. What is also nice is that the makeup is packaged in such a unique and incredible way that you feel glamourous when using the products.

There is so much to see when you’re visiting the boutique that your eyes don’t know where to gaze first because you don’t want to miss anything. I also picked up a mascara brush set and finishing powder brush (not because I needed more brushes, but because I couldn’t leave these golden beauties behind).
