NaNoWriMo-a-go-go
Updated: Nov 9, 2020

This week began week one of NaNoWriMo which stands for National November Writing Month. I had tried participating in Camp NaNo earlier this year. Still, I couldn’t finish because my editor had finished edits on Of Serpents and Wolves earlier than I had expected and so I had to put NaNo off while I worked on that.
This is the first time I have been able to participate, and I am enjoying the experience! I love the community of people and the shared experiences of making it through the month and writing 50,000 words by November 30th!
Today (11/8/20), I am at 28,229 words on book 2 in my Broken Saints Series. I’m not sure what my end word count will be, and try not to fixate too much on it. I’m just trying to write a good story. I was told once that a story is as long as it needs to be.
I plan to keep you all updated on my month’s progress and share my experience with NaNoWriMo. So far, I am enjoying it!

I hope you all have a great week!
